Yes. That's Windows SmartScreen, which flags any new app from a small publisher until enough people have downloaded it — it's not a virus warning. Click "More info" then "Run anyway" to continue. We're working toward a paid code-signing certificate that will remove this over time.
The till itself — sales, cash-up, receipts, staff PINs and approvals — never expires and never needs a card. You only pay if you want it connected to your online store (WooCommerce stock sync, cloud backup, phone reporting).
Nothing changes. The free tier is designed to run fully offline. Even on the paid tier, sales keep completing locally and just sync once you're back online.
Yes — Fulnex POS has proper staff accounts. Each person gets their own PIN and role (cashier, supervisor or admin), and every sale records who rang it up.
Any USB thermal receipt printer with a Windows driver — which is virtually all of them (Epson, Star, Bixolon, Xprinter and similar) — works out of the box. Pick it once in Settings and receipts print silently, and a drawer wired into the printer's kick-out jack opens automatically on cash sales.
