How to Invite Your Team to Fulnex

Fulnex is built for teams. Your pickers, packers, receivers, and managers each see only what they need to do their job. This guide walks through inviting team members, assigning the right role, and getting them productive on day one.

Before you start

  • Fulnex account as the owner or admin
  • Each team member's email address
  • An idea of who does what (picker, packer, receiver, admin)
1

Understand the available roles

Fulnex has six built-in roles. Each one has different permissions so staff only see what they need. Picking the right role makes onboarding faster and reduces mistakes.

  • Picker — sees the picking queue, can pick orders. No access to settings or admin.
  • Packer — sees the packing queue, can pack and dispatch orders.
  • Receiver — can receive new stock and update bin levels.
  • Viewer — read-only access. Useful for managers who only watch reports.
  • Admin — full operational access except billing and team management.
  • Owner — full access including billing. Usually just you.
Tip

A picker can also pack (and vice versa) — assign multiple roles to one person if they wear multiple hats.

2

Navigate to the Team page

From the dashboard, click your profile menu and select 'Team' (or navigate to Settings → Team). This is where you invite, manage, and remove team members.

  • Existing members are listed with their roles and status
  • Active members show green, pending invites show yellow
  • You can deactivate accounts here without deleting them
3

Click 'Invite Team Member'

Click the 'Invite' button. A form opens asking for the new member's name, email, and role. Fill in the details for your first team member.

  • Name: their full name (shows up on pick lists and audit logs)
  • Email: where the invitation gets sent — they'll use this to log in
  • Role: choose from the dropdown (Picker, Packer, etc.)
4

Send the invitation

Click 'Send Invite'. Fulnex emails the new member with a sign-up link. They click it, set their own password, and they're in — usually within 2 minutes.

What you should see

The team member appears in your Team list as 'Pending' until they accept the invite. Once they sign up, their status turns 'Active'.

5

Show them the right page on day one

When they log in for the first time, point them at the page they'll use most. Pickers → /picking. Packers → /packing. Receivers → /receiving. The interface is simple enough that most people figure it out in under 10 minutes.

Tip

Pin Fulnex to their phone's home screen (or save the bookmark) so they have one-tap access.

6

Watch their first action and offer help

On their first pick, pack, or receive, stand next to them once. Answer questions in real time. After one successful action, most people work confidently on their own.

  • First-day mistakes are normal and recoverable
  • Pickers usually need help with scanner permissions on first login
  • Bookmark this guide so you can share it with new staff

Troubleshooting

Team member didn't receive the invitation email

Check their spam folder first. If not there, go to Team page, find their pending entry, and click 'Resend Invite'. You can also copy the invite link and send it via WhatsApp.

Wrong role assigned — how do I change it?

On the Team page, click the team member's name. Tap 'Change Role' and pick the right one. Takes effect immediately, no re-login needed.

Team member left — how do I remove them?

On the Team page, click their name and select 'Deactivate'. Their account is disabled but historical actions (picks, packs) are preserved for audit. To fully delete, contact support.

Picker accidentally sees admin settings

Means they have an extra role assigned. Edit their account and remove any roles they shouldn't have. The picker role alone hides all admin sections.
