The Fulnex Store Scanner is a free tool that checks any WooCommerce store's public storefront for signs of inaccurate stock — no account, no API keys, no WooCommerce login required. This guide walks through running a scan and reading the results.
Go to the free Store Scanner tool on the Fulnex site. No login or account is needed to run a scan.
Open the Store ScannerType in your full WooCommerce store URL, including https://. This can be your own store, or any WooCommerce store you have permission to check.
Click 'Scan' and wait. The scanner reads your storefront's public product data and checks it against known patterns for stock inaccuracy.
Larger catalogues take a little longer — the scanner is checking every visible product, not a sample.
Most scans finish in under a minute. You'll see a live progress indicator while it works through your product catalogue.
You'll get an overall accuracy score plus a list of specific findings — which products look suspicious and why.
Not every finding needs immediate action. Prioritize by what's actually costing you money — high-velocity products with stock mismatches first, low-traffic products last.
Double-check the URL includes https:// and points to a live, publicly accessible store. If your store is password-protected or behind a firewall, the scanner can't reach it.
A lower score usually means the scanner found genuine mismatches between sales activity and stock levels — this is common even on well-run stores, since manual updates rarely keep up with real-time sales.
The scanner only reads publicly visible storefront data, the same as any shopper browsing the site — but only run scans on stores you have the right to check.
